Hello everybody, Just a quick prior note: I stopped writing around January last year when I lost confidence in my ability to write anything of any decent size. About 3 months ago though I wanted to write again, and these short stories came out. They're not my usual depressive fair, and they're not long either, but I liked them for what they are. Simple. Clean. Also, lots of talking. That was a good exercise for me. I hope I got the personalities right... Anyway, remember that these won't get sequels of any kind. Darting past bare bushes and low hanging branches with scant a leaf remaining, the shape sped away, this way and that and all in a flurry of fear, never more than a blur in the corner of the eye.
